Dan the Baker simplifies bread, opens new shop

Toast. It’s the likely the simplest way to bake bread, and it’s what Dan the Baker’s newest cafe is centered around. Toast Bar will simplify everything about the traditional cafe, with the food created with the idea of bread and butter in mind (both literally and figuratively). The menu is set to change seasonally, with new items hitting the shelves with the changing weather and ingredients. Gourmet toast will be the star of the cafe, but there will also be pastries, coffee (courtesy of Cafe Brioso and One Line) and sourdough bread.

Toast Bar is set to open Nov. 7 at 1028 Ridge St.
