With Columbus’ uncanny affinity for restauranteurs to be mobile, the city has cracked down on food trucks carrying a license in addition to a health license. The deadline for those vending licenses is Aug. 15, and the clock is ticking down for some trucks. It costs $180, plus a $250 for a license to operate in the public right-of-way (sidewalks, streets, etc.) but that second fee is being waved for the first year, according to Columbus Business First.
