Pumpkin spice latte has a new competitor: beer latte
While the pumpkin spice latte from Starbucks has been the defacto winner of fall drinks, Starbucks seems to be trying to one up themselves. They’ve decided that beer latte might be crazy enough to work. The coffee shop chain has begun to test a stout-flavored syrup in Columbus that has a flavor similar to Guinness. The Dark Barrel Latte is topped with whipped cream (and calories) and dark caramel sauce and has supposedly been inspired by the craft beer surge.
