Despite its name, Italian Village, didn’t have a local cafe for residents to call their own (which is pretty much a quintessential Italian staple). A & R Development is taking over the corner of Summit and Third, adding a giant red rooster and hopefully opening the doors to The Market at the end of July, according to the Dispatch. The Market is going to be a part cafe, part restaurant and part grocery store. In the mornings it will sell fresh baked goods and espresso and then sell meals throughout the day as well as having a small market area to buy fresh foods.
