The Summer Session: Drink up, it’s still patio season
The requirement for brewers to participate in The Summer Session in Grandview? Beers have to be less than 5 percent ABV, and more than a dozen brewers have done just that and will be there with drinkable booze. Organized by the Grandview Craft Beer Alliance, the event will be at 1515 W. Goodale Blvd. and will also feature food vendors at its backyard party-esque event Saturday from 3 to 7 p.m. Actual Brewing, Jackie O’s Brewery, Seventh Son Brewing Co. and Zauber Brewing will be at the shindig, and patrons are encouraged to bring frisbees, dogs (puppies are also encouraged), chairs and blankets. Tickets are $25.
