An end to the Upper Arlington city hall debacle

Upper Arlington city council voted, 7-0, to overturn the recent rezoning of the city hall after back lash from the community and a push to have the rezoning on the Nov. 4 ballot. The purpose of the rezoning was to open up commercial space where the city hall currently stands. City council has taken the ruling back and is moving to focus on other issues like pushing the income tax increase, according to Columbus Business First.

Nevermind. UA taking back development on city hall

The Upper Arlington City Hall building was set for rezoning, but now Upper Arlington’s city administrators are asking the decision be taken back. According to ThisWeek Community News, residents turned in more than 3,000 signatures to put the rezoning on the November ballot. A meeting will be held Monday to reconsider the June decision.
