Democrats proposing law to fix early voting issues

Last week a federal judge ruled that the trimmed voting hours that removed “golden week” when voters could both register and vote at the same time, and ordered the week be restored. Democrats now, have a plan to fix the debacle that has stemmed from voting times. “It is shameful, it is immoral, it is unjust to have folks in the 21st Century playing games with the voting opportunities of any Ohioan,” said Sen. Nina Turner, WTVN reported. The Democrats’ plan would set fixed voting times across the state, but allow for counties to add hours.
