Lawmakers consider pay raise
State lawmakers in Ohio are considering a proposal that would increase their salaries and those of other elected officials. The proposal was revised this week with certain pay increases available in 2017 instead of 2015. Rep. Gerald Stebelton, who sponsored the bill, hopes that the increase in pay will help retain and attract professionals for elected government positions.
