22 years later, Andyman-A-Thon still for the kids

For 22 year, CD102.5 has put on the Andyman-A-Thon, which was started by Andyman Davis, longtime DJ and program director. Beginning on Dec. 12, listeners can call in and request a song and are encouraged to donate to CD102.5 For the Kids. To date, the effort has raise $1 million. That money will then go toward local charities that benefit children and families in the area. The Andyman-A-Thon Benefit Concert is set for Friday at King Avenue 5 at 7 p.m. with Colin Gawel & the Lonely Bones, Damn the Witch Siren and others. “This is our way of honoring his memory and we know that Andyman would have wanted this tradition and support from the community to continue,” said Randy Melloy, owner and president of CD102.5.
