An unchanging unemployment rate for Ohio
Ohio’s unemployment rate has remained the same from last month. At 5.7 percent in August, the rate was unchanged from the preceding month. The actual number of unemployed people though inched forward by 1,000, not enough though to change the percentage. Even with that small increase, that number of unemployed people is down by 109,000 from last year.
