Drive around Columbus and odds are you’re going to see gas prices under $3. The average price this week is now $2.99 as opposed to last week’s $3.12. “What an impressive week it has been for watching the decline in gasoline prices across the country,” said GasBuddy.com analyst Patrick DeHaan, according to WTVN. “I don’t think I’ve seen such big drops in retail prices collectively since the recession of 2009.” These prices could dip below the record lows from back in 2010.

It’s time for a road trip, obviously.
