Ryan Vesler  over at Homage is taking on the ALS ice bucket challenge, except he’s not pouring ice water on himself. He dumped Homage t-shirts on himself in their warehouse and all day Friday he will be donating $5 for every full priced shirt sold to ALS. Instead of nominating random friends, he’s challenging other local retailing masterminds Les Wexner of L Brands, David Kornberg of EXPRESS, and Mike Jeffries of Abercrombie & Fitch to follow him in his donations to the fight against ALS. The ice bucket challenge has been spreading across social media to support amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, but the disease is more commonly called Lou Gehrig’s disease after the famed baseball player who lost his battle against ALS, ending his career.
