We will not be closed for Columbus Day today because Columbus is in Ohio.

Bank of Ann Arbor is not celebrating Columbus Day, in what is a fantastic act of solidarity. Columbus Day is intended to celebrate Christopher Columbus landing in America, but because the holiday shares the name of their arch rival (Ohio State) they will not close.
Don’t tell @bankofannarbor that it’s Columbus Day. They aren’t recognizing it – http://t.co/11t36aGEO0 pic.twitter.com/Cbk55dMzkp
