The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center has finalized plans to buy the Kindgsdale Shopping Center, where it plans to build a medical facility for Upper Arlington. The city voted earlier this week and authorized the sale of the 5/53 acres to Wexner Med Center for “not less than” $1 million. The center will be a five-story, 100,000 square-foot building, employing 155 people, and provide primary care. It will also provide specialities in women’s health, heart and vascular care, dermatology, allergy, and imaging and laboratory services.
Wexner Med Center plans to open the $22 million primary and specialty care center at Kingsdale by 2016, with construction starting in Aug. 2015.
