World’s largest Ronald McDonald House in Cbus
For many parents with kids at Nationwide Children’s, the stay could get a little bit easier. The Ronald McDonald House that was once open across the street from the children’s hospital has been completely expanded with 137 rooms, three common rooms, a kitchen and a rooftop garden so that families can stay close to their kids while in the hospital. The grand opening ceremony is set for this week, according to the Dispatch, and families can have a place to stay almost immediately rather than sitting on a waiting list as sometimes happened before. Ronald McDonald Houses are part of the Ronald McDonald charities, and families aren’t required to pay for the room while staying, but are asked to donate $20.
