Politicians and elected officials are not the only ones planning to cater to the DNC delegation’s every need. Short North business owners have started displaying signs in their windows reading “Welcome to Columbus” to prepare for the people from the DNC Wednesday. “There are tons of ma and pa businesses, great restaurants, great retail, terrific galleries. So we should make a good presentation for them,” said Jason Williams, chief engineer at Big Fun Columbus, NBC4 reported. Even the arches over the iconic district along with several downtown buildings will be lit up blue during the delegation’s stay in Columbus. Mayor Coleman will also hold a rally at 10:15 a.m. Wednesday morning in honor of the delegates’ visit.
