Politicians and elected officials are not the only ones planning to cater to the DNC delegation’s every need. Short North business owners have started displaying signs in their windows reading “Welcome to Columbus” to prepare for the people from the DNC Wednesday. “There are tons of ma and pa businesses, great restaurants, great retail, terrific galleries. So we should make a good presentation for them,” said Jason Williams, chief engineer at Big Fun Columbus, NBC4 reported. Even the arches over the iconic district along with several downtown buildings will be lit up blue during the delegation’s stay in Columbus. Mayor Coleman will also hold a rally at 10:15 a.m. Wednesday morning in honor of the delegates’ visit.

If you live in Ohio, you'd have to have been living under rock these last 6 weeks to not know who Dr. Amy Acton is. Now the NY Times is making sure the rest of the country knows too with this nearly 7-minute tribute video titled, "The leader we all wish we had".

As the state's lead spokesperson on the healthcare side of the pandemic, Acton has received wide praise from both near and far. Despite recent protests that occurred outside of her Bexley home, most Ohioans believe she has been a shining star in these dark times.

She has a tribute t-shirt, "Not all Heroes Wear capes" created by Homage

Her own (Ok, Gov. Dewine too) tribute parody video

Her very own bobblehead from the Bobblehead Hall of Fame

A Facebook Fan Page with over 133,000 members

Here's our profile piece from the April issue of (614) Magazine - the cover of which is featured in the NY Times video. Very cool, Sarah!

According to co-host CNN, Pete Buttigieg, Andrew Yang, Amy Klobuchar, and Bernie Sanders championed the night. Co-host The New York Times mostly agrees, with the opinion writers saying Bernie Sanders and Pete Buttigieg were among the top performers last night, but Elizabeth Warren was the clear leader.
