An 18-year-old Ohio State student could soon be pocketing $5 million for his startup. Peeyush Shrivastava is competing in 43North, a business competition with his company Genetesis, which takes in electrochemical activity via the skin. The device he has created then compares the patient’s specific data to disorders that deal with the body’s electrophysiology. Currently he is one of the 11 finalists, so even if he doesn’t win the grand prize of $5 million, his company will still pick up and move to Buffalo, New York for funding there, according to Columbus Business First.
