Aretha Franklin coming to the fair to sing, and snack
Aretha Franklin, the legendary R&B singer, is coming to the Ohio State Fair for two reasons: to sing and sweets. According to ABC6, the singer plans to wander the fair grounds in search of elephant ears, a sugary pastry known for its ear shape. Franklin plans to sing a mix of her classic hits (“Respect,” obviously) along with songs from her upcoming album.
