Wednesday, fear struck through Denison University after a phone call threatened a gunman shooting opening up fire across the campus, and led to the school getting locked down as well as other area schools. Other threats have slammed University of Cincinnati and Pickerington North High School with nervous terror in the last week as well. While the caller to Pickerington has a Middle Eastern accent, police have not confirmed if the caller to Denison also had an accent, which was later determined to be a hoax, the Dispatch reported. Granville Township Fire Chief Jeff Hussey has said it is still to early in the incident to make connections, the paper reported.
