CPD shoot 2 dogs after they attack 4 people

After two dogs attacked four people in Columbus Tuesday morning, the police shot the dogs. Police have said that a woman and her elderly mother had been walking into their home from their car and they were attacked by two pit bulls. A person driving by then stopped to help the two and he was also attacked. The brother of the person that stopped then came by and attempted to help and was also attacked. When police officers arrived they attempted to removed to dogs, but the dogs then charged at the officers. The bites that the victims got from the attack were all considered minor and none life threatening.

Animal control is looking for the owners of the two dogs.
