Driver crossed 4 lanes, hits CPD
A driver who was apparently suffering from a mental emergency crossed over four lanes of traffic, into oncoming traffic and then crashed into a Columbus Police officer while on Georgesville Road. The driver was taken to OSU Medical Center with non life threatening injuries, and the officer was take to Doctors West while in stable condition.
What the mental emergency was has not been released yet.
