FMMF didn’t turn a profit, coming back for 2015

The inaugural year of Fashion Meets Music Festival didn’t turn a profit, but that didn’t discourage or even surprise the organizers. “We knew we were going to generate a loss,” said communications director, Melissa Dickson, the Dispatch reported. With 60,000 attending the festival, the organizers were pleased with the turn out. “Coachella, at year one, had more than a $1 million loss,” Dickson said, and called the event a success. The festival will be back next year during Labor Day weekend, and moving forward though they are planning to make changes concerning the feedback they got and fuse the fashion and the music more than they did this past weekend during the first edition of FMMF.
