Gahanna man arrested for 2 rapes, more might be linked

A man was arrested Monday and charged with two counts of rape and two counts of kidnapping after a 21-year-old girl came forward and said Terry L. Smith, Jr. has raped her, according to NBC4. Investigators have said Smith might be linked to more after he apparently admitted to numerous other sexual assaults on females while being interviewed. When he was arrested, another 23-year-old woman was with Smith at the time, and she told officers she too had been sexually assaulted, according to the station’s report.
