GetGo grand opening + still Giant Eagle opportunities
Giant Eagle CEO Laura Karet made a pit stop in Grandview Thursday morning for the big grand opening of the GetGo on Third Avenue. While Columbus has 25 Giant Eagles in the area, Karet told Columbus Business First there are still more opportunities in the city. The opening of the GetGo comes a few weeks before the opening of the chain’s Market District which will open a few days after the closing of the Giant Eagle on Fifth Avenue. The company’s CEO though has said there might be more GetGo openings rather than the full grocery stores that have been opening lately, according to the paper.
