Grandview Police and SWAT units called in after woman barricade situation

Grandview Police and SWAT officers arrested a woman this morning after a barricade situation. They were called to the area of Third Ave. and Cambridge Blvd., after a report of a woman making suicidal threats. Columbus Police SWAT Units and Upper Arlington Police were called in for assistance after she had barricaded herself.

After an hour, the woman surrendered, was taken into custody, and is now receiving medical treatment. A knife was recovered at the scene, but no injuries were reported.
