It looks like Xerox is taking interest in a Dublin company that has created telemedicine booths. HealthSpot has created booths that a patient would walk into, digitally give all of their information including insurance, health history and symptoms and a doctor will appear on the screen. Patients will then video chat with the doctor who will assess what exactly is going on, all without going into a doctor’s office. The money given by Xerox will be for putting those booths in pharmacies, large employers, nursing homes and other areas.
