Hit-skip suspect given $50K bond
Tuesday, the bond for Juan Ruiz, 21, was set at $50,000 for allegedly hitting another car in a fatal hit-skip this week.

21yo charged in fatal hit-skip
A driver has been charged following the fatal crash from Monday morning. Juan Jose Ruiz, 21, allegedly left the scene in his Charger after hitting another car from behind. The other driver died at the scene, and Ruiz’s has been charged for failure to stop after an accident.
Fatal hit-skip closes 670 for much of the morning
A report of a two car crash early Monday morning brought Columbus police to I-670 eastbound near Grandview Avenue, but when they arrived there was only one car, and a person was trapped inside. The person in the car was pronounced dead at the scene, and police have reported that the second vehicle involved left the scene. The second car was later found, but this time no one was inside.
