War photographer exhibit coming to Dublin

Eddie Adams’ iconic image of a Viet Cong officer being shot in Saigon was part of the wave of media that flooded back to America during the “living room war.” For months officials in Dublin have been working to bring his work to the city, and next May, 50 of the photographer’s photos from the Vietnam War will be displayed at the Arts Council. The late photographer’s wife, Alyssa Adams, in addition to Adams’ colleague (and well know AP photographer), Hal Buell, will be at the exhibit to give lectures and extra information about the photographs.
