Pup of the Week: Angela

Angelalogolowres614Now has partnered with the CHA Animal Shelter to put some focus each week on a cute pup up for adoption. This week, we take a look at Angela.

Angela is a 6 year-old Pug / Beagle mix (a Puggle) . She was originally surrendered to a rural shelter with her brother Eddie because their owner was no longer able to care for them. Eddie has been adopted, but Angela is still waiting for her forever home. She has a loving and sweet personality. She’s very eager to please and enjoys any time that she can spend being with people. Angela likes to go on walks outside and then rest in the laps of CHA volunteers and staff members. She enjoys playing with stuffed toys and this smart girl will always sit for a treat. Angela would make a great addition to any home.

Angela’s adoption fee is listed at $65. She is up-to-date on all of her shots, and has been spayed and micro-chipped. Adoption fees go right back into the shelter to help care for animals continuing to wait for their new homes.

More about CHA Animal Shelter:

CHA Animal Shelter is a nonprofit animal shelter in northeast Columbus, Ohio (3765 Corporate Drive). CHA is funded solely by donations from adoption fees, donations from the public, and various other fundraising efforts. Their mission is to serve the people and animals of Central Ohio by providing safe, temporary shelter and care for abandoned or otherwise homeless cats and dogs, and to reduce pet overpopulation by means of spay and neuter, education, and community outreach. They have been fulfilling that mission since 1975.

Adoption fees are designed to help offset a portion of the cost of food, shelter, and medical care for each rescued animal.  (jj)
