2/8/15 2:25am – Missing: Have you seen this giant pear?
Franklinton’s Ethical Arts Collective reports that they were ripped off on Saturday. A witness says that they saw a group of people speeding away with a unique piece of art. The distinctive work is a 300 pound pear created by artist Bruce Hanners. Hanners’ pear typically sits outside the entrance of the collective. That’s where it was sitting when it was stolen on Saturday. The estimated value of the piece is somewhere in the range of $5,000 to $10,000. Anyone with information is asked to call Ethical Arts at 614 233 1508. (jj)
