Best seats in the house, LeBron crash lands on wife of golf champ
Normally, they’re considered the best seats in the house. Last night…not so much.
Westerville resident and PGA golf champion Jason Day and his wife Ellie sat courtside Thursday night in Cleveland as the Cavaliers played the Oklahoma City Thunder. In the 4th quarter, as 6’8 LeBron James chased a ball out of bounds, he crashed into, knocked over and fell onto Mrs. Day. She was attended to on the ground for several minutes before being carried away on a stretcher. She was taken to a local hospital and released early this morning. Doctors say that she’ll be fine.
Ellie Day gave birth to the couple’s second child, a baby girl, just last month.
LeBron James offered this message on social media after the game.
