Bound for Broadway: Eddie George joining cast of ‘Chicago’
Former Ohio State football star Eddie George has kept a busy schedule since concluding his 9-year run in the NFL ten years ago. He’s a successful businessperson and restaurateur. He’s also played small parts in a couple of movies, made cameo appearance in various TV shows and was a judge on last season’s NBC reality competition American Dream Builders. Now the legendary Buckeye running back is heading for Broadway.
George will take over the role of Billy Flynn in the musical Chicago for a 7-week run starting in mid-January. He steps into a character first played by eventual Law & Order star Jerry Orbach in 1975.
