Buckeye Notes: CFP rankings, Ezekiel Elliott

*The big win over Michigan last weekend improved the Buckeyes’ standing in the College Football Playoff rankings. OSU moves up from 8th to 6th. Final rankings will be out this Sunday (12/6). Ohio State has its finger crossed for monumental stumbles by Alabama and Clemson this weekend. That would seem to be OSU’s only chance at this point to move up into the playoff picture.

*Ezekiel Elliott has been named the Big 10’s Offensive Player of the Year and Running Back of the Year.  (jj)
