Alabama may have finished the regular season a few spots ahead of Ohio State in the playoff rankings, but…in dollars and cents…it’s the Buckeyes getting the better of the Crimson Tide.
New reports from the U.S. Department of Education show Ohio State’s athletic program seeing a 19% jump in revenue to $171 million. (This is for the fiscal year that ended on June 3oth.) In that same time, Alabama dropped 1% to $151 million.
The results mean that Ohio State’s Athletic Department is second in the nation in terms of revenue, trailing only the University of Texas.
