The building contractor for Ohio Stadium is estimating that there could be $4,000 worth of damage after fans broke into the stadium and tore down a goal post in celebration of OSU’s championship win. Around 1:45 a.m. Tuesday, a group snapped the padlock on the South Stand’s gate and about 200 people got into the stadium. Once inside, they went to the south end goal post and started hanging on it and pushing it until it broke in two places. (deb)
