Former Buckeye head coach Earle Bruce has been named to the Ohio Senior Citizens Hall of Fame. Bruce led Ohio State to eight bowl appearances and four Big Ten championships during his time as coach between 1979 and 1987. He is among a group of seniors set to be honored with induction next week. Bruce’s entry into the Senior Citizens Hall of Fame is partly in recognition for his fundraising work on behalf of alzheimer’s research.
