Grab your gear! Hibbett Sports returns to Cbus
It may have waved goodbye a fe years ago, but Hibbet Sports just couldn’t stay away. The Alabama-based sporting-goods store is coming back to Columbus and opening a new store on (3878) E Broad St. Hibbet Sports already has 27 central Ohio locations, including Delaware and Heath, but it’s excited about being more centralized with its soon-to-open 5,000 square-foot store in Whitehall’s Town & Country Shopping Center.
And according to Jeff Gray, VP of real estate, Hibbet Sports knows what the Columbus market wants: “Being in Columbus, the focus will be a little more college than pro,” he said. “There will be Ohio State, but also some Browns and Bengals too.” (deb)
