Score! Hot Chicken Takeover comes to the Shoe in time for home opener

This has been a big year for the folks at Hot Chicken Takeover. First came word that they would be taking up permanent residency inside the North Market. Then they started serving at all Columbus Crew SC home games. But wait, there’s more.

Hot Chicken Takeover recently announced that football fans will be able to find them at Ohio Stadium for all Buckeye home games. When the Buckeyes are playing at the Shoe this season, you’ll be able to find the Hot Chicken Takeover food truck right there as well.

Levy Restaurants and Retail handles concession arrangements for over 100 sports venues in North America (including MAPFRE Stadium and all Ohio State athletic venues). And when the announcement came earlier this year that Hot Chicken Takeover would be at MAPFRE for Crew SC matches, there were already thoughts of something bigger. HCT’s Joe DeLoss said at the time that he had hopes of being at Ohio Stadium. And now, starting with the first home game vs Hawaii on September 12th, they will be.
