Tressel among inductees to Ohio State Hall of Fame
Former Buckeye head football coach Jim Tressel leads the 2015 class of inductees for the Ohio State (Varsity ‘O’) Athletics Hall of Fame. OSU made the announcement on Wednesday. Tressel, now the president of Youngstown State University, led the team from 2001 through 2010. His resume includes nine bowl appearances, six Big Ten titles and a national championship. Oh….and he beat Michigan time and time again (9 times if you were watching on television, 8 times if you look at the official record. NCAA sanctions blah, blah, blah). This isn’t the only honor coming Coach Tressel’s way. He’ll also be inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in December.
