k bought the former coffee and bar spot in the Short North’s “Cap” spot, many wondered what would fill the empty space. Well, now we have an answer. Hyde Park Restaurant Group announced today that they’ll open “Stack City Burger Bar” at (600) N High St.
The 3,260sqft restaurant and bar will seat 100 people, plus 75 in their outdoor patio. The menu will be made up of gourmet burgers, sandwiches, and salads, alongside a bar featuring “spiked” shakes, cocktails, wine, and 24 craft beers on draft. The bar will also emphasize local brewers, with a rotation of seasonal Ohio beers and a draft program that, according to their press release, “[is] designed around growler fills, which will offer a wide selection of brews for patron samplings, with the option to take any of them home ‘fresh from the keg.’”
If you’re ready for burgers and beer, you’ll have to wait a bit, as Stack City Burger Bar won’t be opening until August. (deb)
