The wait is FINALLY over!
If you’re like me, and have driven past Pigskin Brewing Company in Gahanna and thought: “WHY?! WHEN?! I’ve been waiting for sooooo long!” Then today is a good day – because it’s the day!
Pigskin Brewing Company is open. As of yesterday, they opened their doors for a “Preseason” of guest beers while their Home Drafts continue to ferment. And even though you’ll have to wait awhile for their brews, we’re happy to say, “welcome to the (614) neighborhood.” (deb).

After a long journey, Pigskin Brewing opening soon
Pigskin Brewing, like many businesses, has had quite a journey to opening day, but it looks like theirs is finally approaching. Two years ago owners Tarry Summers and Mike Rockwell began the process of opening the brewery and it started in Grandview, but that location didn’t pan out and they moved over to Gahanna and into Creekside. Pigskin is set to open late this fall or toward early winter, according to Columbus Business First with room for 80 guests inside and another 80 outside. Four beers are set to be tapped for the opening including a pale ale/IPA hybrid, a brown ale, a Hefeweizen and a West Coast-style amber, the paper reported.
