*UPDATE* New Albany man appears on The Price is Right

*SPOILER ALERT*

New Albany resident Nicholas Potts appeared on Friday’s episode of The Price is Right and here’s how it all played out.

Our story begins in Contestants Row. Not having been one of the first four called to play, Nicholas is told to “come on down” in time for the second round of bidding. Fellow contestant Alissa makes a perfect bid of $799 on a Nikon camera, leaving Nicholas and company to take a seat and wonder what might have been.

In the next round of bidding, Nicholas thwarts fellow contestant Jesse’s effort to win a pair of Napoleon patio heaters. Jesse bids $1100, but Nick wasn’t having any of that BS and bids $1101. <BOOM!> Drew calls up our boy from New Albany.

Time for our pricing game…Bullseye. Nicholas is a winner….walking off with a six-piece outdoor furniture set, a digital projector with a huge screen and a 6-pack of ramen noodles. Total value, nearly $8,300.

On we go to the showcase showdown where Nicholas spins 75 cents on the big wheel and makes it to the final.

And in that battle, once again, its our boy Nicholas. He edges out his competitor Aamyie to win a golf package including a new car.

Way to go, Nicholas!  (jj)

Starting placing your bets now: Nicholas Potts (from New Albany) is about to appear on the Price Is Right. Tune into CBS at 11AM to see what he’s gonna win. Potts told us he “did get called up on  stage and it’s worth watching.”
