Superman (suit) lands at Ohio History Center
Faster than a speeding bullet. More powerful than a locomotive. Able to leap tall buildings in a single bound. Look….over by that display of old Ohio fossils! It’s a bird! It’s a plane! It’s Superman’s old suit!
The Ohio History Center is working with the Smithsonian Institute to bring a fun memento to Columbus. This is something that superhero fans…and especially Superman fans like me…will certainly want to see. Its the original Superman suit from the 1950s TV series The Adventures of Superman starring George Reeves.
The suit has not been on public display in 9 years and having a chance to see it will give fans an up-close opportunity to compare the images of superhero past with the images presented today.
The suit will go on display to the public at the Ohio History Center (800 East 17th Avenue) beginning Saturday, October 10th. (jj)
