A bite before flight: Eddie George’s opens at Port Columbus

Travelers going through Port Columbus now have a new dining option. Eddie George’s Grille 27 opens today in Concourse B (near gate B21). The popular High Street restaurant is expanding to satisfy cravings of those coming and going to / from Columbus. Sports bars are popular spots among airport travelers and in a city synonymous with Buckeye football, one that carries the name of one of Ohio State’s greatest players is sure to stand out. (Eddie was at the airport this morning for the ribbon cutting ceremony.)

The 4000-square foot space includes a full-service restaurant and bar as well as a grab-and-go meal counter.

Eddie George’s is part of the G.R.E.A.T. Grill Group that also includes Jerome Bettis Grille 36 in Pittsburgh and the Indianapolis Colts Grille in Indy.

Eddie George’s Grille 27 at Port Columbus is open 5am to 8pm Sunday through Friday and 5am to 6:30pm on Saturday.  (jj)
