After an 8-year run at the helm, Litzinger closed L’Antibes in May of this year saying that he had new ideas for the space and that he would be back.

This week, the chef has reopened the doors to a renovated, rebranded, re-everything restaurant at 772 North High Street. The new eatery is called Homefare.

Litzinger’s promise of lighter fare and casual offerings on the menu seems to have come to fruition. (Dishes like meatloaf, fried chicken and pork chops found room on this week’s schedule of specials.)

Homefare is open for dinner Tuesday through Sundays. Beginning December 5th, the restaurant will also be open for brunch on Saturdays and Sundays. (jj)
