Downtown deli closes shop
Say goodbye to Casa Sazon the Latin deli at 49 North High Street. The 6 year-old establishment closed its doors last week, following in the footsteps of other retail and customer-based businesses in the building. The property was purchased in 2013 by Edwards Cos. with plans to convert the 8-story space to residential. (That construction is already well underway.)
Other businesses that were at 49 North High have relocated. No word on if Casa Sazon will do the same or if this is simply the end of the line. (jj)
