RECALL: Trader Joe’s has concerns about your sausage

Another day and another favorite food item that you need to throw out else risk getting sick. This time, the recall is on Trader Joe’s Sweet Apple Chicken Sausage. Producer Kayem Foods says that some of the sausage may have bits of plastic in it. (Maybe I like bits of plastic in my sausage. Did they ever stop to consider that? Sigh.)

Packages included in the recall have case code 9605 printed on them and ‘use by/freeze by’ dates of April 22nd, 25th and 29th, 2015. If you have the affected product, Trader Joe’s says to return it to the store for a full refund.  (jj)
