Revolution coming to South Campus Gateway
When I first heard the term PizzaRev, I’ll be honest. I thought Al Sharpton must have been opening a chain of pizzerias. No…it’s not that.
PizzaRev is a chain of pizza shops, yes…but the Rev stands for revolution. And according to Business First, they’re coming to Columbus.
The 3-year-old chain with locations in 6 states is planning to expand to three more. And one of those new shops will be in the South Campus Gateway (next to Five Guys).
As a customer walking in, you’ll get your choice of dough (original or gluten-free). From there, you go down the line looking at the sauces and toppings, telling PizzaRev’s “pizza crafters” what you want on your pie. It’s a one-price deal…so a basic pepperoni pizza costs the same as one with everything on it. The pizza crafters then throw your creation into a 900-degree oven and serve it up you in about three minutes.
So far, no word on an opening date. (jj)
