Scioto Downs is game to open new brewpub
In March, we told you about Scioto Downs’ plans to add a new brewpub to the racino. And now its opening is just days away.
Eldorado Resorts (owner of Scioto Downs) also operates a resort casino in Reno. Part of that operation is the original Brew Brothers pub. The decades old establishment has received accolades including being named “Best BrewPub in America” by Nightclub & Bar magazine. They’ve also been recognized as the highest-selling brewpub in North America. So the product is popular and they’ve got the numbers to back it up.
Eldorado is now expanding the Brew Brothers model to Columbus. As work continues on the Scioto Downs addition, racino players are already anxious to check out the place that promises great food, great drinks and LIVE music. Customers can expect a menu lined with wood-fired pizzas, burgers and other sandwiches.
Business First reports that while food will be coming out of the kitchen, it may still be a few weeks before the Brew Brothers suds are ready to pour. In the meantime, offerings from other Ohio craft brewers will be available.
Brew Brothers at Scioto Downs will open before the end of this month. (jj)
