Spirits are high for Columbus distillery

Spirits are high for Columbus distillery

The makers of your (and mine’s) favorite OYO booze, Middle West Spirits, are getting ready for a BIG change. The micro distillery just got a new warehouse space, and at 23,000sqft, this place is gonna be able to make me, er…I mean, Columbus, ALOT of drinks. MWS wants to increase its barreled spirits, and to do so they need more room for new bottling equipment, raw material, office space, plus room for their culinary vinegar line. Which is why they decided to take up a (second) residence just off 5th and Cleveland Ave. at the former Timken site.

So, Stone Brewing might have passed on Columbus and the Timken site, but I’m much happier seeing those behind my booze of preference making the move. (deb)
